Dog Puppy Supplies and How to Care for Them
Having a new puppy in the house needs special attention and care. Bringing your puppy to a new home with new people and surroundings can be a little disorientation and confusion on his part. Do not be alarmed of this reaction because it is a normal behavior of a puppy to the unknown surroundings. There are some tips I can share with you on how to care for them and the dog puppy supplies they need to make the changes go smoothly. Remember to be sensitive with their needs. This is important in building a good bond with your new puppy.Before bring the puppy at home, you have to be sure that food and water bowl is ready. Food and water is very important for nourishment. There are many kinds of food and water bowls that you can choose from. There are those that are made of stainless steel, plastic and ceramics. In purchasing, you have to consider that the puppy will teething at an age and bowls that are made of plastic is not recommended at his age because it will be destroyed easily. Ceramic ones can be broken and it could be dangerous and unsafe for him. Bowl that is made of stainless is ideal at the moment but they are more expensive.
The first thing you should consider in bringing a new puppy at home is the bedding. This is one way to make your puppy at home and comfortable by providing him its own bed and beddings. The smell of his own bed will make him feel secure because it has its scent. Dog beds are made in variety of materials and the price depends on the materials used and the design. Regardless of the design and materials used you choose for him, what counts most is the bed is comfortable for him to have his nap or rest. If your puppy does not want to sleep on it, it is an indication that he is not comfortable with the bed.
One of the most important things that you should provide your puppy is grooming dog puppy supplies. A soft brush, nail clippers for trimming the nails, shampoo and ear cleaner must be readily available at home. Using a soft brush can make your dog feel good about grooming time like having a relaxing massage. A nail clipper is necessary to make a habit of trimming their nails for them to get used to it as part of grooming routine. Shampoos and cleaners is also important to remove dirt and germs in the body that can cause problems later on such as skin problems and mites.
Like us, when we are young we love to play. Puppies also love to play and can ease the anxiousness of a puppy. Provide your puppy with toys for him to play and for brain development. There are unlimited toys for puppies from chew toys to flavored bone toys. Make your puppy feel comfortable that interaction is fun being with you.
